The DCID 6/9 Practical SCIF Construction Course (PSC) is designed for industrial security officers and/or facilities specialist at all levels who need to know how to contract to build a Sensitive Compartmented Information facility (SCIF) or SAPF in a cost effective manner. The course will address all aspects of the design and construction process including developing and reading blueprints, specification sheets, best practices for construction oversight, what security hardware to use, and how much it should cost. At the conclusion of the course you will be able to design a cost effective SCIF, have it built in a timely manner, and receive government accreditation at the conclusion of construction.
