The course is specifically designed to provide SSOs and ISS professionals with the knowledge, tools, understanding, and skill base to return to the workplace and properly implement all the security requirements called for in DCID 6/3, Protecting Sensitive Compartmented Information within Information Systems. ISST not only teaches policy and procedure, but also allows the student opportunity to put in practice what the directive requires. At the end of the course, the student will have hands on experience in preparing a fully compliant DCID 6/3 plan including privileged and general user guides, hardware and software inventories, SCIF floor plans, and memorandums of agreement.
