Mr. See is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Analytical Risk Management supporting the Security Disciplines, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and Emergency Planning. Mr. See, NMR Consulting’s Director of Risk Management, has 30 years’ combined experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial consulting environment. Prior to joining NMR, Mr. See spent 10 years’ with Booz Allen and Hamilton, followed by a brief engagement with SMART and Associates. At Booz Allen, Mr. See performed as team lead for the Analytical Risk Management business line where he consulted to the U.S. Government and commercial industry in matters of risk management (programs, assessments, and training). He has performed risk assessments in the areas of information and cyber security, physical “facility/base” security, personnel security, acquisition security, and antiterrorism and force protection. Mr. See has supported the Intelligence Community for more than ten years in matters of Analytical Risk Management (ARM).
Mr. See was a founding member of the Security Analysis and Risk Assessment Association (SARMA), formed in 2005. A nonprofit organization that promotes the growth and professionalism of the security analysis and risk management industry, SARMA is a professional association that propels the industry forward and provides a central place for networking, training, and professional growth.
Mr. See is a retired Marine. During his time with the corps, he held instructor billets at the Marine Corps Communications and Electronics Schools, Twenty-Nine Palms, CA, and Drill Instructor and Senior Drill Instructor at MCRD San Diego, CA. He also served with victor units at Camp LeJune, NC. Mr. See retired from HMX-1 where he was the Communications Chief for the Presidential Helicopter Squadron responsible for executive communications for the President, Vice President and executive staff while embarked on executive fleet helicopters. Mr. See retired from the Marine Corps in 1997 at the rank of MSgt.
